CAIPM Groups
- Weight Management
This program focuses on helping people explore how lifestyle, feelings, communication, and stress affect eating and weight. Three weight loss food plans are offered: a full supplemented fast, a partial fast, or full food. Fees VARY depending on the desired amount of weight loss and the type of weight loss food plan.
- Stress Reduction
This group educates people on the mental and physical effects of chronic stress. Information on specific stress related conditions such as insomnia, headaches, pain management, nervousness, depression, etc. You will be helped to understand the sources of stress in your life, factors affecting your respose to them, and treatment options.
- Smoking Cessation
This group presents strategies that help people conquer the urge to smoke. Through group support and motivation, people learn to handle stress and how to prevent smoking relapse.
- Exercise
An exercise physiologist helps you develop a personal fitness plan. There is an exercise room with fitness assessments and a variety of fitness classes including yoga, Tai Chi, and stretching.
- Creative Art Therapy
Small group settings, which are facilitated by therapists, provide you with an outlet for expression, interaction, and discussion. Various groups use music, dance, drama, writing or art as tools for emotional expression.
- Solutions
This program focuses on helping people who feel addicted to food regain a sense of control and end cycles of weight loss and regain.
- Connections
Connections is a program for women who have been sexually abused. A safe group setting allows women to explore the issues they face as a result of the abuse.
